This depicts Jesus as the Word creating perfectly and completely all things. The words appear on the unravelling ribbon, which is Jesus, and life appears in all its abundance culminating in the creation of people. Nothing more is required. Every thing that is needed is here. In this panel I reference the creation with local landmarks and wildlife enfolding the male and female figures in the centre
This is our people-created world as depicted by the life and environment of All Hallows School. Compared with God’s creativeness it is insubstantial and transient, but it is so important in terms of the new life Jesus offers. He runs in another ribbon through our shaping creativity offering new life and life everlasting which is a transforming creativeness. The ribbon has the fruit of the spirit written on it. We live our lives in the body of Christ and the attributes of the saints appear surrounded by light to illuminate this relationship. Our creative skills and learning have no constructive meaning outside this relationship.
